Who can request this service

Companies, establishments, individuals and Government departments

Steps to follow to request the service

  • Receipt of the sample along with a letter from the concerned party.
  • Gather the sample information and assign it a laboratory registration number
  • Apply charges of analysis as per the import permission form. Charges to be paid in financial section.
  • Make the samples ready as per the required analysis and then distributed them to different labs.
  • Receive the analysis results from labs.
  • Enter the data related to the samples and the related lab results and then issue a lab certificate.
  • The lab certificates are to be sent to the administration officer to be registered, stamped and then handed over to the applicant.
Documents to be attached: (Copies of which are to be attached, if possible):
  • Form A: to be submitted by companies.
  • Form B: to be included in inspection samples

How the service is processed

This is decided upon submission of the application and type of analysis required. Notification is through the address stated in the application, either by email or normal mail.

The period of time required for processing the application varies (e.g. a day, a week, or a month).
