This licence would be granted to professional fishermen as per provisions stipulated in the executive regulation of the Fishing Law.

Steps to follow to request the service
Fill in the Application Form.
Have the Application Form signed by the Sheikh and accredited by the Wilayat's Governor.
Attach a medical report.
Pay fees and get the licence.

What documents are needed to process
A copy of the ID card.
Two personal photographs.
Copy of the Manpower ID card.
Special conditions if any applicable
The applicant must be Omani
He must of 18 years age and above
He must be medically fit and know how to swim
The fishing profession should be his livelihood. The concerned authority may make an exception of the condition mentioned in point 2 above
How the service is processed
Upon completion of the Application from the Office of the Wilayat's Governor and the concerned Poly Clinic, and when the fees are paid the licence will immediately be issued.
