This licence is granted, for one day, to recreational fishermen who wish to practice fishing using fishing hooks and rods. A recreational fisherman is a fisherman who fishes for pleasure or competition. (A licence granted for one day can be renewed for the same period).

Steps to follow to request the service

  1. Complete an application form
  2. Submit the application

      3. What documents are needed to process

      1. Copy of Applicant's passport
      2. Letter from the sponsor
      3. Photograph

          4. Certain conditions must be met when submitting the application:
        • The sponsor letter must be original and duly signed and stamped
        • The size of the photograph.

      How the service is processed

      The licence will be granted on the same day of submission

      How long will it take

      The application will be processed in less than an hour.
